STEM TABLE

Design a C-Table that can be used either indoors or outdoors that is low cost, modern, and easy to manufacture.

This project was originally developed for MIO Culture. It’s shape allows it to be used for doing work at a sofa or as a side table. Lightweight and easy to move, a perfect functionable accent piece.

Role:

• Thoroughly research related products and trends

• Present opportunities and findings to the client

• Sketch & develop a series of options that can be easily manufactured

• Produce final CAD models with proper hardware for renderings & production

CONSTRUCTION

This piece is made with a laser-cut work surface/base with a press-break part joining them together. These three aluminum pieces keep the manufacturing very effective and cost efficient.
